Masterchef
Born in Mengen, Bolu, Zeki Açıköz worked as chef/cook in various hotels and restaurants since 1979. He started to work in Ankara Sheraton&Lugal Hotel and Convention Center in 1991 and became Executive Chef in 2000.
He hosted several organizations within the structure of Ankara Sheraton & Lugal Hotel and Convention Center where he has been working as Executive Chef since 2000 and prepared menus for popular celebrities. Some of them are Barack Obama, Queen Elizabeth, Putin, Abdullah Gül, Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Süleyman Demirel and all the ministers and prime ministers. He has been in charge in the third presidential term of Turkish Culinary Federation, which have 21 unions as members.
Being the member of Chaines des Rotisseurs, Mr.Açıköz has lots of studies having the aim of introducing Turkish cuisine inside and outside Turkey. Besides, he is the only official jury of World Association of Chefs Societies in Turkey.
In addition, he is participating several international organisations to represent Turkey and introduced Turkish cuisine. He has been giving lectures in the Department of Tourism of Atılım University since 2009. He is also taking part in TV shows.
