Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

Tansel OKAY
Computer Engineer, Enterprise Architect
Tansel Okay was born in 1968 in Diyarbakir. He has completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir.
He got his Computer Engineering Degree in 1990 and MSc degree in 1993 (METU). In his first period of career he developed a number information systems for various organisations. He worked for Sun Microsystems, Software AG, SAS Institute, in various positions helping customers with application of information technologies. He is currently working for Oracle as enterprise architect, supporting companies in their large transformational projects.
Tansel Okay is interested in scientific developments and technological applications that would make life easier and sustainable.
